Aegospotami (Greek: Αιγόσποταμο, meaning "goat-river") is a small river in ancient Thrace, which flows into the Black Sea. The Battle of Aegospotami was fought there in 406 BC between the Spartan fleet and the Athenian fleet during the Peloponnesian War.
