How to Measure Speed with a Velocity Meter
A velocity meter, or "velometer", is a device used to measure the speed of an object. It typically consists of a spinning disc with a series of equally spaced marks on its surface, and a pointer that moves in response to the rotation of the disc. The pointer indicates the speed of the object being measured by pointing to the appropriate mark on the disc.
