


Marcus Aurelius: The Wisdom-Led Emperor
Aurelius is a Roman emperor who ruled from 161 to 180 AD. He was born in 121 AD and was the son of Emperor Marcus Aurelius and Faustina the Younger. He became emperor at the age of 17 after his father's death and ruled for 19 years. During his reign, he fought several wars, including the Marcomannic Wars, and made significant reforms to the Roman Empire's administration and military. He is also known for his wisdom and philosophical writings, which have been preserved in a collection of essays called "Meditations."
