Understanding Infatuation: Signs, Causes, and How to Move On
An infatuator is someone who is intensely and unreasonably attracted to another person, often in a way that is not based on reality or mutual feelings. The term is often used to describe someone who is obsessed with someone else, but the obsession is not reciprocated or is not healthy for either party involved.
For example, if someone is deeply infatuated with a celebrity and spends all of their time thinking about them, talking about them, and trying to emulate them, even though the celebrity does not know they exist, this could be considered an infatuation. Similarly, if someone is obsessed with a romantic partner who does not feel the same way, this can also be described as an infatuation.
In both cases, the infatuation can be seen as unhealthy because it can lead to an unbalanced and unrealistic view of the other person, and can cause the person who is infatuated to neglect their own needs and well-being in pursuit of the object of their desire.
