What is a Councillor?
A councillor is an elected official who serves on a local government council, such as a city council or town council. Councillors are responsible for making decisions about local policies and programs, and representing the interests of their constituents. They may also be involved in reviewing and approving local budgets, zoning regulations, and other important documents. In some countries, councillors may be known as aldermen or council members.
