What is a Kinswoman?
A kinswoman is a woman who is related to you by blood or marriage. The term is often used to describe a female cousin, niece, or other close female relative.
For example, if your sister has a daughter, that daughter would be your niece and also your kinswoman. Similarly, if your mother has a sister, that sister would be your aunt and also your kinswoman.
The term "kinswoman" is less commonly used than "kinsman," which refers to a male relative, but it is still a useful word to know and can be particularly helpful when describing relationships within extended families or communities.
