What is a Sublieutenant?
In the military, a sublieutenant (also known as a second lieutenant) is a junior officer rank. It is typically the first rank attained by an officer after completing their training and commissioning. Sublieutenants are responsible for leading a platoon or smaller unit of soldiers and are expected to demonstrate leadership, tactical ability, and sound decision-making skills. The rank of sublieutenant is equivalent to a lieutenant in other countries' militaries.
