What is a Vice-Headmaster?
A vice-headmaster is a senior teacher or administrator in a school who serves as the second-in-command to the headmaster or headmistress. The vice-headmaster assists the headmaster/headmistress with managing the day-to-day operations of the school and may be responsible for specific areas such as academics, student affairs, or finance. In the absence of the headmaster/headmistress, the vice-headmaster may serve as the acting head of the school.
