What is Diurnal?
Diurnal refers to something that is related to the daytime or active during the day. It can also refer to an animal or plant that is active during the day and rests at night. For example, a diurnal animal might be a bird or a squirrel, while a diurnal plant might be one that blooms during the day and closes its flowers at night.
In contrast, nocturnal animals are active at night and rest during the day, while crepuscular animals are active during twilight hours (dawn and dusk).
