What is Nonpenetrating?
Nonpenetrating refers to something that does not penetrate or pierce through another object or surface. In other words, it does not have the ability to pass through or enter into the interior of another substance or material.
For example, a nonpenetrating bullet is one that does not penetrate deeply into the target but instead remains on the surface, causing less damage and injury. Similarly, a nonpenetrating weapon is one that does not have the capability to pierce through armor or other protective barriers.
In materials science, nonpenetrating refers to the ability of a material to resist penetration by another substance or object. For example, a nonpenetrating coating on a surface can prevent the passage of liquids or gases through the surface.
