What is Unicity?

Unicity is a property of an object or a value that makes it distinct and one-of-a-kind. In other words, there cannot be two or more objects or values that share the same unique properties or characteristics. For example, a person's fingerprints are unique to them, and no two people can have the same fingerprints. Similarly, a person's DNA is also unique to them and cannot be replicated in another person.

In programming, unicity can be used to ensure that certain values or objects are distinct and cannot be duplicated. For example, a unique identifier (UID) is a value that is assigned to each object or user to ensure that they are uniquely identified and cannot be confused with any other object or user.
