What is Unpermeable?
Unpermeable refers to something that does not allow liquids or gases to pass through it. In other words, it is impermeable to fluids. Examples of unpermeable materials include plastics, rubber, and certain types of metals. These materials are resistant to penetration by liquids and gases, and they can be used to create barriers or containers that keep substances inside or outside.
For example, a plastic bag is unpermeable to water, so it will not allow water to pass through it and will keep the contents dry. Similarly, a rubber membrane is unpermeable to air, so it will not allow air to pass through it and will create a tight seal.
In contrast, permeable materials like fabric or paper will allow liquids or gases to pass through them. For example, a piece of cloth will allow water to penetrate through it, while a sheet of paper will allow air to pass through it.
