What is Unphenomenal?
Unphenomenal refers to something that lacks or does not have any phenomenal qualities or characteristics. In other words, it is something that is not perceived or experienced through the senses, and therefore does not have any subjective, conscious experience associated with it.
For example, a rock or a chair might be considered unphenomenal because they do not have any subjective qualities that we can directly experience through our senses. We cannot see, hear, taste, touch, or smell them in the way that we can with other objects like people, animals, or food. They simply exist as physical objects in our environment, without any particular phenomenal quality or characteristic that would make them stand out to us.
In contrast, a sunset or a piece of music might be considered phenomenal because they do have subjective qualities that we can directly experience through our senses. We can see the colors and shapes of the sunset, and we can hear the sounds and melodies of the music. These objects have phenomenal qualities that make them perceivable and experienceable by us as individuals.
